Le Méridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa, Giza
Great hotel near the pyramids.
Hotel was very nice, lots of restaurants and bars, beautiful pool, great view of the pyramids, totally worth the extra cost for that view.

Great Tree View
My Pyramid view room turned out to be a great view of a big tree. No pyramid in sight. Very disappointed. Checked in at night and got that surprise in he morning.

Friendly People
Cairo is a beautiful experience; from the amazing Ancient History of Pyramids and Dynasties of Egyptian History. This was my first trip to Egypt and what most impressed me was the open friendly ways of the People.

Excellent hotel with view of the pyramids
The location of this hotel is truly amazing as my room overlooked the pyramids. Staff provides exceptional service. Room and bathroom are immaculate and have everything you need. The grounds of the property and pool area are beautiful and also overlook the pyramids. The dinner buffet at the restaurant is excellent This hotel is very safe with security checks upon entry to the property and hotel. Tour operators will collect you in the lobby. This hotel is a well-managed, high quality property I can easily recommend a stay here.

Bad, really bad service; Old rooms.
Well, was a very desapointed experience. Bad service From the check in to the check out. This hotel has nothing to see with Le Meridien chain, the room was old, bed not comfortable, no room service, bad Housekeeping service. The culture in Egypt is everything about tips, but this place has the worst employees ever, because they want tips, and I'm OK with that, I am a person who tips very well, because I work in the same industry; but they want tips in change of very bad service, the restaurants they take your order, and they take order to your table after that you'll be ignored forever, and trust me, Forever. Concierge if you don't buy the service with him, you'll get a very bad attention, I know the concierge functions, and is help, service and makes everything better; but here, is completely different. I don't really know if this people learn something about hospitaly and "Le Meridien" standards in their trainings, but doesn't looks like... Well, I work in hotel, I have been in more than 20 countries, in more than 200 hotels, many kind, many chains and here you have my experience in this hotel, hopefully helps to do not do the same mistake than me.
