Fine hotel
They are currently renovating the 5th floor of the hotel and the notice said these renovations would begin at 9am, but they began much earlier, which was annoying.

Book elsewhere. We are not picky. This place: meh.
This hotel seemed like a good choice while choosing a hotel, but I wish we would have spent the extra for a nicer place. The King bed was actually two twin beds shoved together. My husband and I are cuddlers. This cannot be done with a giant seam in the middle of the bed that seperated slowly during the course of the night. There is wifi. However, it is terrible. It randomly boots you off every five minutes and it is sooooooooooooo slow. There's a second wifi network with a password but that's just as bad. The room was incredibly warm for Dublin in January. We are uncomfortably sweltering. We slept on top of the covers the entire time. It was too noisy outside to have the window open, though the noise could not be heard with the window shut. We left the window open all day while we were out and it didn't help at all!! The temperature control was broken so we couldn't even get the ordinary fan on. The electric kettle did not heat the water up enough for tea unless you ran it three times through. The bathtub was laughably small. It seemed close to everything on the map, but in reality it was actually quite far, and the roads in Dublin are not easy to navigate. They were doing construction while we were there, setting off the fire alarm two days in a row (the second time we had no warning), which shut off the elevator. We had to go down three flights of stairs with a heavy suitcase full of breakable objects. I will say that the front desk staff were lovely.

Excellent location for exploring Dublin on foot.
This property was recommended by a friend primarily based on its convenient location. The staff was very friendly and quite helpful with trying to answer any of our questions.
