Nicely furnished, good area, but cramped & stairs
Hotel about a five minute walk from Marylebone station. Rooms are stylishly furnished although my single room was a little cramped - not much more space around the bed! My room was on the top floor of the four floor building, and there was not an elevator. I liked the exercise but others might not! Also, the room was in a building on the other side of the road to the reception area. It felt secure but the lack of front door staff may trouble some, despite this being in a good part of London. Overall I’d stay again as I found the rooms affordable, comfortable, smart and clean, but others may find drawbacks.

Tight room, awful mattress and pillows.
Wow, I've never slept on a more uncomfortable mattress. The location is great and folks were trying to be as helpful as possible but this place is a tight squeeze and just very basic. The photos are misleading.

Good for short stay - fair value for money
This hotel is perfectly located for buses and metro, and when you are just there to sleep. That is why I chose it. The price offered is quite fair, the bathrooms are clean with a great shower, and breakfast is excellent. Every effort is made to provide great service. But I was not happy as a middle aged woman traveller in a foreign city to be in a separate building that is without a reception when I came home late at night. I came back at midnight each night. I was also not happy about the narrow staircase to the 2nd floor with big bags.

Park Avenue
I was apprehensive because I was booking from the U.S., but the front desk made check-in fast and easy. Overall very clean and inviting room overlooking the street; the room was quiet despite the street being noisy. Complimentary biscuits and glass water bottle in the room was a plus. The only issue was the mini fridge beeping on and off, however, only a minor disturbance - ended up unplugging it. Also, great shower!!

Clean Room, Nice Rates/Area, but Poor Service
Clean room, nice rates/area by Sherlock Holmes Museum, but overall, the service was poor. No one showed me the room and its unique features, but definitely, an electric outlet and phone were not working, and the toilet didn't flush properly.
