An older property with a little wear and tear. We did notice an old residue smoky smell when entering the lobby and the room. Not strong enough to not get used to it, but like it was in the paint on the walls. The staff were friendly and having the breakfast was nice.

The Comfort Suites is a nice hotel. It's just a few minutes off of Interstate 5. It's close to fast food restaurants and across the street from Applebee's and only five minutes to CVS and local coffee shops. The only thing I'd change would be longer breakfast hours. Breakfast starts at 6 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m. If you're tired from a l9ng drive, you're not really wanting to get up by 9 a.m. for breakfast, maybe it's just me.

The staff was great, the hotel was very clean, the area felt safe and our room was spacious and wonderful with the exception of the bathtub. Everything else appeared to be more recently updated, but the bathtub was old and had paint chipping and was not very inviting. That is my only complaint, otherwise we had a great stay and we loved the size of the room.
