Restaurant needs work!
The resort was very nice but I think it is definitely over priced. The restaurant needs to add more of a variety and their chef needs to learn the difference between rare, medium rare, and medium. I ordered the steak Frites medium well and my meat was so bloody i couldn't eat it. when they originally brought the food we didn't even have silverware so we sat staring at our plates for 3 minutes before we could even start eating. Then the waitress brought the silverware and never once came back after we began eating to make sure everything was good or if we needed anything. Very disappointed to pay $39 for french fries.

Nice location, poor execution
We were looking forward to this and it was a big disappointment - very nice location, but poor service given the very high price of the bungalows. We waited again and again, for checkin, for a table, for 10 different little things. Staff seemed extremely disorganized and it was somehow interesting to see them running around making excuses to everyone for this or that. "Details" such as a 6AM alarm that was not reset, loud delivery trucks idling in the morning right below your balcony, room service delivered without a table to eat on (and they wouldn't do anything about this...) would matter everywhere, but when you charge over 1,000$ a night... Seemed like a very poorly managed hotel.

Good 6.0
Out reservation for dinner wasn’t in the books when we arrived. We sat at the bar in the early afternoon and there was little acknowledgement from the bartenders. They were not busy at all for breakfast and yet we had to wait 30 min for a table. While we were waiting they were out of coffee. At 7:45..we had to ask for more. This happened twice. For the amount of money we paid, there should be way more attention to detail

Sadly, over-rated and over-priced.
First, let me say how stunningly beautiful Sedona is. No matter where you are, you are surrounded by exquisite beauty. Being our first visit to the area, we decided to go all out and stay at the top-rated L’Auberge de Sedona. Unfortunately we found this resort to be over-rated and thus overpriced. The facilities are worn and in need a facelift. Our suite, which was a free-standing building, was spacious and the bathrooms were well-designed, but we had no view and were surrounded by a skunk odor much of our stay, not to mention a lot of early morning noise around us. We enjoyed a wonderful creekside meal at Cress on Oak Creek our first evening, but the outdoor bar and casual dining area where we visited during the day was actually dirty and rather unsightly (unkept walkways, dirty tables, areas where seating was not clean to lounge on), and we always had to seek help as the service was very sparse. While we look forward to visiting Sedona again soon, we will be choosing different accommodations next time around.

Sedona Splendor at Hotel L'Auberge de Sedona
The setting of this Sedona gem is a perfect combination of quiet retreat, but easy access to main shops and restaurants. Our cottage was so lovely, a short stroll to the duck pond and creek that runs adjacent to the property. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We booked the PINK JEEP Broken Arrow tour, highly recommended, and had two great dinners at recommended venues, the 89Agave Cafe ( just a block from the Resort( and Cucina Rustica, a short drive but worth the trip. We also got great hiking recommendations and the resort provides free transportation to any venue within a mile of the hotel. We would absolutely return for a longer stay. Two nights was too short!
