I stayed at Microtel about 8 years ago and it was great. The level of cleanliness has seriously declined. The first day I had no hot water in the shower and it looks like the shower was not cleaned. There were stray hairs from a previous visitor in the tub. The top sheet on the bed had obvious stains from a previous visitor. I did not feel I could lay anything on the bed and did not want to touch the top covers at all. The floor near the air conditioner was warped. The place is in need of a total makeover. The staff were nice and the continental breakfast were a plus.
