Low-key, easy access to high-way and dining option
The Hancock is a low-key, strategically located, and great option for adventurous or road tripers who need easy access to I-70 and a variety of non-expensive comfort food for either breakfast, lunch or dinner in the area. Also should mention you have several options for liquor stores nearby. I’d stay in the same place again and again. Nice way to gettaway and disconnect from it all.

Good value
Our experience was good. The room could use a little bit of repairs in the bathroom but wasn't bad. I liked the big fat orange kitty that jumped up on my lap while I was outside.

Lodge type setting close to many attractions
We have stayed here in seasons past when cycling in the area, and our last few visits before this one saw the hotel starting to become a bit ragged around the edges. With the current owners in place, things have changed markedly for the better. We got a family style accommodation with two rooms, and the rooms were spotless, already warmed up, and with new flatscreen tv. The young man who checked us in, Simon, was superbly friendly and helpful above and beyond the call of duty. When the wi-fi crapped out, he came out and got things going again. It was very good to excellent for the tenure of our stay. One of the folks in my party snapped their glasses in half when they accidentally sat on them, and it was too late to go into town to get anything in which to make a repair. Simon ably assisted again and we were able to repair the glasses. Seems like a little thing, I know, but it's little things like that, that for me anyway, ensure my return visit. We were very pleased with the upgrades here and will return! My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that the bathroom floor is really cold! The bathroom heater doesn't really warm the floor. If you're a cyclist looking for rustic, retro accommodations at an affordable price, this is your place. :-)

Had all the basics for a stay without a lot of frills. Homey style stay. For where it was located almost no traffic noise although we could hear ppl talking through the walls. Overall quiet. Slept well, ac/heat worked well.

Fair rating for motel. Clean but old.
Old motel. No name outside, so we almost drove past it. Clean and neat. Allowed pets. Outside decor was very old furniture, some broken. Price was right but we won't be back.
