Great location. Excellent service. Hotel is a bit dated, but in good condition. Breakfast was great. Comp wine and cheese happy hour was a nice bonus. Can't beat the location for skiing and town activities.

Great hotel!!
We loved staying at Camel Garden! Our room was conveniently located (ask for room 108 if you are on a ski trip...best location for ski lift and ski valet!) My husband and I went on and on about how friendly the staff was and how great our room was! Thank you Camel Garden for an excellent stay!!!

Very Good 8.0
Cool hotel, bad costumer service
The good: Great location! Overall a pretty nice little boutique hotel. The 2nd floor has a nice lounge area overlooking the gondola square and the hot tub and steam room are clutch for after skiing. The bad: the costumer service is really bad; it seems like nobody that works there respects management enough to really put in any effort. The morning front desk guy simply does not care at all - we came down to the desk to ask a question at 7am and he was asleep at the desk. His whole attitude is like you’re inconveniencing him by being there. So avoid the morning front desk guy at all costs. I also left a pair of swim trunks and a phone charger in the room after checking out. We came back 1 hr later after the room had been cleaned and the front desk guy said nobody in house keeping saw them. We checked the room and they weren’t there so obviously someone took them but simply never turned them over to lost and found. Finally, breakfast is terrible. Basically a slight step above a Days Inn breakfast. Their excuse is “we don’t have a stove top”. Summation: a bit pricey for what you get, but if you avoid the staff and breakfast your stay should be solid.
