Nice
It was nice and I enjoyed my time there. The only thing that I was unhappy about was the TV. Need more TV channels in English.

WORST EXPERIENCE AT NOVATEL PARIS 17
I booked entire europe trip and in Paris is the only place which I had WORST experience in my life. Our check in was suppose to be at 2 PM. We went little bit early and they said that your check is at 2 Pm and we were group of 12 people booked 4 rooms. We went out for lunch without checking in. We came back at around 3 pm and still they say that rooms are not ready. The Receiption was sooooo rude and they didnt even care to say sorry and they started arguing with the customer saying that you didnt book through us and you booked through Hotels.com Even the Manager came out and her attituted was also same. I would never ever recommend Novatel 17 Paris (Only at paris) I recently travelled for 13 days in Euorpe and this is the only place I had worst experience. Even while checkout she refused to give me the invoice said you booked through Hotels.com I dont know what else to say about the staff of Novatel Paris 17.

Disappointed in Novatel
The desk staff was rude, especially the lady who was at the desk in the morning. I wish I had gotten her name. The ceiling in the front entry was all torn apart and wires were hanging everywhere. The dinning area was not inviting and the food did not appear to be anything special. However, it was very expensive. ($25 p/p) The shower room didn't have a knob on the door so once you entered you were stuck unless someone was on the outside to let you out. Very little help in explaining how to get to the metro and center city. Not a convenient location if you want to visit the attractions. Not a very good neighborhood so walking was a bit scarey to get to the metro and you have to walk about 5 blocks to catch a bus and then ride the bus another .5 miles before you get to the metro. I would not stay in this hotel again. Way too pricey for the room, bad neighborhood, and lact of convenience.

Really a 3-star hotel
The hotel itself is OK, but beware of the location. It is a 15-minute walk from the closest metro station, Peirre Station, if you don't get lost on the way. Also, it is hard to get a taxi during morning rush hour. All-in-all, however, I still would rate our stay a positive one because there are really not too many reasonably priced hotels in Paris this time of the year.
