Chill, comfortable clean apartment
We had a lovely stay here - it was close to the car ferry and the marina so perfect for dive trips. The room was beautiful, big and comfortable with a lovely view. The bath products were wonderful. The hotel itself is quiet however the beach bar opposite is loud until late on Saturday nights, and scuba tanks from the dive shop next door clang from 5-6am (bring earplugs). We also would have preferred an easier breakfast situation as we had to leave early for diving and it was a bit of a hassle arranging it the night before every time. However, that’s the only minor issue. Sereno upstairs is one of the best places to eat on the island (amazing tacos and ceviche!) we would stay here again.

So much noise!
We took a chance on this hotel as we saw that it was newly renovated and a bit out of the town center. Unfortunately, this one didn’t pay off. The staff is friendly, as others have mentioned, and the roof top restaurant is spectacular and has great food. The hotel is situated about some retail shops, including a scuba shop. Sadly, the shop below our room started throwing around tanks starting at 5:00 am. This was impossible to sleep through, even with earplugs. The hotel is still undergoing renovations on the upper guest rooms, so once the scuba shop below us started settling down (10:00 am), the renovations started up. Then there is the open air bar, which plays progressively loud music as the night goes on, finally closing around midnight. So even though the bad was comfortable

Amazing stay
The hotel was great and fullfilled all of our expectations. It was very clean, the rooms were big, comfortable and new, it has a nice rooftop with a great restaurant (try the slow brisket tacos), and the outside area with pool is small but also very nice. It‘s not located in town but 3 minutes away by car and has some nice beach bars and restaurants within walking distance. We went diving and the dive shop was literally 5 seconds away with super nice and friendly staff. Every single member of the staff of the hotel was also super friendly and helpful and took care of everything we needed and was also able to help with tips and everything! Thanks for everything, we‘ll definately come back!
