Good 6.0
Nice location some wear and tear
Hotel was right across the street from the water and had some nice views. Hotel was a bit older and showed some signs of wear. Walking distance to restaurants movies etc. which was nice. We felt like we were young again as the hotel had a lot of elderly people and when asked the front desk clerk stated that they get a lot of retired groups at this time of year. Breakfast was ok but I would not recommend it. Overall hotel was clean and definitely showing some wear and tear but was relatively inexpensive.

Poor 2.0
Like spring break at Daytona
My husband and I are here in our quiet, waterfront "luxury" room at the Galway Bay right now. It's disgusting. There are drunks in the lobby and halls, someone is smoking on our floor, and there is a wedding right below us that is SO LOUD — music, DJ, screaming — our room is vibrating at 11:30 p.m. Front desk declines to do anything. Beware. This place is really low class. Addendum to this review: The hotel's general manager came and found us as we checked out, promising to refund the cost of our hotel room, saying he knew what a terrible night we'd had and it was the least he could do. He suggested, by the way, that we might take down any negative reviews in return. Perhaps the deal was quid pro quo. There has been no refund.

Fair 4.0
Outdated, smelly hotel
Find another hotel. Smells like smoke, really outdated, no air conditioning and very hot rooms, no service to speak of. I really can’t understand why people rate this hotel highly. Maybe the beautiful view but the property is not nice save your money.

Very Good 8.0
First room was smelly and needed to be changed. Service was good to fix after we complained. Second one had stains (But we kept).

Poor 2.0
Disappointing - look for a better place
Similar feeling to a lower value Atlantic City hotel or Las Vegas casino. Booked a triple room which ended up being a double bed (US double size) and a twin in a very small room. No air condition and no airflow from the limited-open window which was VERY warm. Miniature fans from housekeeping were of little value. Ordered a late room service consisting of worst pizza and ham sandwich (2 pieces of bread and a slice of ham sandwich meat) - took an hour to deliver. Hotel bar was infested with fruit flies. Breakfast was bountiful but really poor quality/taste. Lobby and elevators reeked of smoke. Just not a quality family friendly stay.
