Green Isle Conference & Leisure Hotel, Dublin
Quite Noisy
The hotel is in a mostly residential area, with no amenities nearby. The layout of the hotel means that as guests leave, they walk out into a courtyard that is surrounded on two sides by rooms. Unfortunately, this means that when they have events, there are large groups of people leaving the events at late hours. Alcohol inevitably makes them more noisy than they believe, and the main courtyard under the windows of most of the rooms is very loud at night. In my case, there were waves of noisy people leaving the hotel on and off from 2AM to 3AM. To their credit, the hotel tried to keep these folks quiet, but that proved to be impossible. The young woman at the desk most of the time was spectacularly polite and professional, even at the busiest of times.

Kids running Wild
The hotel, restaurant and room were excellent. On the opther hand, children were running about all over the restaurant and hallways. Some were pounding on our door several times. Around ten PM the kids next door were yelling and making all kinds of noise. It's amazing staff and parents couldn't control these children. Best [art of the hotel was leaving the next morning.

Big beds.
Large comfortable rooms and big beds. The hotel is actually massive. We had some initial issues at check in which both and the hotel dealt with sufficiently.

Staff were accomodating.
We had booked this hotel for a large party for a charity bike ride via work. There was an issue with rooms which meant our bookings were not recorded which caused a panic when we first arrived, especially infront of our directors. This hiccup meant we missed the cut off for food so we weren't happy to begin with. The staff were accommodating though and helped us out and let us order food (much needed after a 200 mile bike ride!)
