Excellent Customer Service
It was a great location downtown. The staff was very friendly and they sent me articles of clothing that I left in hotel back to my home in the United States. I am extremely please with the service and the hotel.

Comfy, cozy, convenient
Reasonably priced room in lovely Riverwalk area was clean, cozy and comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. Convenient location to Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Royal Crescent and awesome Fashion Museum, in addition to Waitrose grocery store right down the block. Easy 15-minute walk to train station. Great pubs and restaurants nearby, including the Scallop Shell, best fish and chips! Buffet breakfast was delicious and filling. Would recommend to other travelers and would gladly return.

Need renovation
hotel can help to do that but I was shocked to see a roof is broken a bit and did smelled the dust. I really don't like that. also TV monitor is not turn on and finally I changed the room from king bed to single bed, and I had a muscle cramp in my neck while asleep... and the public toilet lock is horrible and is was not easy to open.... again the hotel person really eager to support but the whole hotel seems to do some renovation for sure. I did not experience such an many unexpected things.

Hotel.com totally screws up three night booking!
Your reservation service screwed up the booking. You made two reservations when I was staying at the hotel for three consecutive nights. When I arrived at the hotel I was informed my stay was for one night. I showed the front desk agent my paperwork from you for a three night paid booking. After much waitin the front desk agent found a room that was available for the three nights. When I returned to the hotel on my second night I was locked out of my room and had to go back to the front desk for new keys to the room. Your reservation service performance was very poor and disappointing.
