Great inn in center of Gatlinburg
This was an anniversary trip over an extended weekend. It was our first stay at this remodeled and rebranded inn. It was chosen because of its central location in the heart of Gatlinburg which gave us a short walk to many of our planned destinations. It had several of our preferred perks like the free breakfast buffet and a jetted tub in room. While the spacious suite was very clean, I was a bit dismayed by the dark splotches on the ceiling above the jetted tub from former water leak??? It is an older place that has been given a fairly successful facelift. It is good price for the great location with trolley stop right there. No paying for parking elsewhere, just walk or take trolley. The breakfast was good: eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals, muffins and make your own waffles. Just missing a fresh fruit option. We will stay here again!.

Great location
The room was very clean, the location is great. Only complaint is the bedding needs an update. The blanket was worn and itchy. The breakfast is very limited. Biscuits and gravy with eggs, that's it. We did go to atrium which is a restaurant at the end of the hotel and found that you can get a 10% discount. Other than that, will probably stay there again for the location.

Great location and rate
The hotel is in a great location on the east end of downtown and which is within easy walking distance. Also, it is on the main road out of town that leads to Pigeon Forge. It is an older hotel, but is was well kept up. The room was clean and and larger than average in size. It was quiet and he continuous fan option on the ac effectively blocked any outside noises. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a weak point with some hot food and waffles, but very limited other items. No fresh fruit at all. WiFi was spotty. Staff members were friendly. The excellent rate and location of this hotel makes it an excellent choice for visiting Gatlinburg. There are many excellent nearby breakfast options, so the poor breakfast selection was not an issue for us.

So so at best
The 1st night we realized our TV was broken. We called the desk and maintenance came to check it out. After over an hour of him turning the TV off and on and off and on and trying 3 cable boxes we were moved to another room. The 2nd room had a strange smell but by this time we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. The breakfast was better than what most hotels offer for free. The WIFI was nonexistent. Parking was horrible. They blocked off one of the entrances with a chain so it was easy to get stuck with only one way in and out. The photo on the website shows a pool and hot tub, the hitting is now a kiddie pool.
