Definitely not superior!
Booked a double room. Room we got was nothing more than a box room. On request, we were moved to a slightly larger room known as a ‘superior double’. Would not consider it superior. Felt let down overall by standard of hotel. We were hoping for something a little more luxurious than what we got, and for the price charged.

Loved it! Bang for the buck! Not only was staff helpful but the hotel restaurant was phenomenal as well! We would highly recommend! Worth it to upgrade to a balcony room!

Great hotel! but breakfast mismanaged/dinner bad
The guy on reception during the day was so so lovely and helpful but Night Shift needs to smile more! Saturday breakfast was fine only strangely they had no muesli all weekend. Sunday breakfast was a disaster with queues down corridor waiting to get in while the girl at desk seemed to take forever just to mark someone off a list. Tables not cleared promptly so I guess this caused a backlog. Had to ask for tea and coffee three times from the waitress who was walking around in a cloud - only to then see her wander off and start polishing cutlery or staring into space! No butter - and no bowls available - had to wait 5/10 mins!! Wouldn’t have minded but after long queue in we were starving! Dinner wasn’t great either - bit like jazzed up diner food - very basic menu made to look nice. Husband had steak €32 which was like a steak from a diner chain, I had sea bass €23 which was the more like the size of a herring and swimming in oil and extremely bland. Deserts were brownie, cake and knickerbocker glory so you get the gist. Fine at diner prices not so good when you’re paying these prices. The basic rooms are pretty small so worth upgrading and the balcony views are absolutely worth the money - views are great over the Liffey! I’m hoping the breakfast thing will get sorted so I would stay again - for four reasons - 1. the beds were amazingly comfortable 2. they upgraded our room 3. the location is great 4. the lovely guy on the front desk really enhanced our stay 😊
