Classic Hilton Nightmare
Terrible experience, just like all the hiltons in the United States. The room wasn't quite ready yet when we arrived so we were told to leave the bags at the concierge desk. Hilton's employee at the concierge desk told us to go back to the check in desk and ask them to call concierge because "she is not concierge". WHAT? Went back to the front desk and were told to go to the concierge... Got to our room, and it was dirty. Stains everywhere, on the floor, on the couch coffee spilled on the floor around the little coffee table, room was dark and stuffy. Went back to check in desk and was offered another room. The next room was cleaner, but also super stuffy. The widow's don't open more than 2 inches, and there is no AC in the room. Even though it was freezing cold and windy outside, we thought e were going to cook in the room. Couldn't sleep at all the whole night it was so hot. There was a little fan in the room, but that didn't help much at all. Disaster of the hotel. Oh, also- somebody used the bathroom before we arrived :/ For $400 a night, this was a joke.

I had a great stay at the Hilton
Grand old building on the seafront. If your pleasant to the staff, they are pleasant to you. Great room and used the spa. Bar prices a little high but options nearby

Family night away to my favourite seaside town
We stayed in a newly refurbished suite with a balcony and sea view and it was perfect for my family it was very clean, had a separate lounge area where the children’s roll out beds were placed so we all had our own space, great views and new tv and comfy beds and pillows - the reception areas as you enter the hotel could do with a updating as it’s been the same decor for years also the railings outside on the balcony were quite rusty but tbh we love this hotel for its location breakfast and this time a beautiful Room will definitely return but can be quite expensive so usually only 1/2 nights is realistically affordable. We visited in January and price for suite was good and included breakfast. Would recommend.

Hotel was nice. Room felt small even by UK standards. Staff were amazing! Everyone was helpful and cheerful - always glad to help.
