Convenient hotel near Termini Station
This hotel was was just a block away and a safe and quick walk from Rome's Termini Station. Very convenient for tourists wanting a centralized location. Walking distance to Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colosseo and the Foro Romano, and most other tourist spots. Breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a high ceiling and nice full bathroom. I would definitely stay here again. Only complaint is that the mattress was a little hard.

Well located for transportation.
The Genova was perfect for our several day layover in Roma - near the Termini hub. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in great shape.

I'm not sure how this hotel got decent reviews. Let's start with the positives, the first lady that helped us check in was great. She was friendly and helpful. That's where the positives end. The room was average at best. Bed felt like hardwood covered in sheets. The air conditioning was non existent. I had a little tool in my wallet that had a thermometer, the room got up to 82 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and only cooled down to 78 at night. I called to see if I could get a fan and the attendant was rude when he told me they don't provide fans. The other hotel attendants were only nice when you were to spend money. We got some take out food from a restaurant and asked an attendant to eat in the lobby because it was too hot in my room. He told me I could. The attendant in the lobby literally kicked us out because we weren't going to spend money. Breakfast was a few cold cuts and pastries. I probably would've had a better breakfast with a pack of bologne and loaf of bread. I would compare this hotel to a motel 6 in the states but that would be a disgrace to motel 6s. Keep searching for a better deal. This hotel is not worth $50 a night even though they charge almost double. All in all the location is good. If you want a cheaper hotel and plan to literally spend no time in the room and won't talk to any attendants, this might be a decent hotel for you.
