Lacking advice literature.
On entry into the room it was evident the that there was no literature to explain how to contact service, the phone did not appear to have and obvious service button. There nothing to tell you that the air conditioning could be turned down. Without these frustrations a top score would have been appropriate.

Very enjoyable stay
Bar areas and rooms extremely impressive. We dined in the hotel the first night and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try the Apres club! The wellness facilities were a bit tired. Could do with a shower by the pool side to rinse between sauna etc. Would definitely stay again.

2 night family stay for 5
The hotel is quite dated and needs modernisation especially in the rooms. We had a family suite for 2 nights. The corridor smelt of smoke/cigars for the 2 nights we were there. They could not find where the smell was coming from. Not ideal for a non smoking area and for my 3 young kids. The tap in our bathroom wasn't working when we asked for this to be changed it wasn't done while we were out and then had to ask again and wait about an hour in the room while maintenance replaced it. The service from the restaurant team & bar was good and appreciated. The food on offer could do with a revamp and update also.
