Customer services not the greatest. When we arrived at the hotel the attendant was outside on a personal phone call, smoking a cigerette. We waited at the front desk for atleast 10min (there was also others in line) as she finished her phone call AT THE DESK before helping us. The room was clean and the hotel was in a convenient location. We were in town for a wedding at the university so we did not spend much time at the hotel. When we arrived back that evening, we were disappointed to discover our tv did not work at all! Since it was late at night, we did not bother asking to switch rooms. As we were leaving the next morning, the attendant was at the front desk. I placed my room keys in the express check-out box. The attendant looked up and said absouletly nothing. There was no, "thank you for staying with us." There was no "have a great day." I travel to the area for work quite a bit, I will not visit this establishment strictly because of the poor customer service.

Well below expectations…
Holiday Inn Express’ are generally good places to stay, but not this one. It was generally clean, but rooms need major updating. We had two rooms, both had very rusty tubs, and TVs from the 1990s, many updates needed. The tub was so nasty my wife didn’t feel comfortable taking a bath. The breakfast was terrible, no bread/toast, fruit was not fresh, and the eggs/sausage/has browns tasted like it was reheated from the day before. We travel I-55 regularly, but will never stay here again…overpriced and very poor conditions. It’s too bad because location is good. Somehow Hotels.com had this as fabulous 9.5…not even close.
