This place went downhill in a hurry
I had to be moved to a new room because as soon as I walked in my first room there was a really strong urine smell. Second room was cleaner but I did notice a dead cockroach in the bathroom as I was leaving. Worse, I called the front desk the morning of checkout to ask for a late checkout. They agreed to an hour later. At 11:15, while I’m in the shower, the housekeeper opens the door and I come out of the bathroom in a towel (she probably knocked but I didn’t hear it). I told her I had a late checkout and she said no I don’t, and that I have to leave now. I told her she needed to check with the front desk because I wasn’t slated to leave until 12. She tells me I need to go. I got dressed and left. It’s a shame, really. I’ve stayed here multiple times and always loved it when I’m in town on business. I don’t know if they changed management or just got more lax on their standards but I won’t be back.
