Roach Hotel
The grounds are beautiful, the main problem is that is infested with cockroaches, and other bugs. All over the place, especially at night. Gross

Sedona Stay
Time for some updating but generally a good value and a nice facility. Great location within easy access to restaurants, etc. Abundant in-site activities. Downside: I requested no calls from their timeshare people but got them anyway.

Fair 4.0
Okay, but not impressed.
Front desk never answers the phone, maintenance was blowing leaves and dust all over our cars when cleaning. Could have a later check out. Suite was $200, plain white walls, no decor, kinda weird and plain room. Resort buildings and rooms are dated, but the pool, bar and spa were VERY nice! Clean and enjoyable. Good area, right by everything downtown in Sedona. Good to visit, not to stay.

Great resort, avoid concierge
The resort is lovely and right next to Tlaquepaque shopping center, which is nice and walkable. The grounds are nice and the pool is pretty good - a bit small but generally it's fine. My only iffy experience was with the concierge desk which is way too pushy. When I first checked in they ushered me to the concierge for a "welcome package" which includes signing you up for an online discount program (iffy) and then they spent a bunch of time asking me what I wanted to do in Sedona and going through a list of restaurants and their recommendations. I had some time-sensitive work to get done and just wanted to get checked in, so this was really annoying! I had to be sort of rude to extract myself and said thanks but no-thanks. Check-out was even worse, they have a salesperson there who tries to sell you on a future package deal at their chain and she did NOT take my first no for an answer but kept pressing me. I was there on vacation, and was not interested in high pressured sales techniques while I was trying to enjoy my weekend. Overall I liked my room, I had a private patio and a great kitchenette that was well-stocked.
