The Rookery Hotel, London
Quirky, comfortable hotel
Very nice hotel in Clerkenwell. Well served by Underground, though a bit out of the way in terms of access to major sights, stations and airports. But once you're there, its a very friendly, well run, well equipped hotel. Mixture of old world service and modern comfort. Friendly, helpful staff; nicely appointed room and common areas. Great for business travel if you don't mind a bit longer commute.

A very London hotel experience
I really enjoyed staying at The Rookery. I was in a cozy room on the top floor with beautiful antique furniture, oil paintings, and comfortable bedding. It has the character and decor that I really wanted, along with the cleanliness and strong air conditioning of a newer hotel. It's also in a great neighborhood close to the train station and some good food options.
