Great place to stay pre-cruise in Vancouver
Awesome hotel for pre-cruise stay. We stayed here for two nights prior to our Alaska cruise. Fairly pricey (summer rates), but the price was in-line with other hotels in downtown Vancouver. However we couldn't ask for a better location. We took the Canada line train from the airport, and the hotel is two blocks from the last station. It is also directly across the street from Canada Place (cruise terminal). We booked a partial harbor view king room, and were upgraded to the top floor with a stunning view of the harbor. The room was very comfortable and clean. A bonus is that the bell staff will take your luggage the morning of your cruise and transport it to the cruise terminal. This made the morning of our cruise very easy and allowed us additional time to explore Vancouver. Attached to the hotel is a food court, so if McDonald's is your breakfast jam, that is convenient.

Good 6.0
Glad I got the room on half off sale.
The lady that helped us check in early was great. Kept looking trying to find us a room early even though we kept telling her it wasn’t a big deal. Super nice and pleasant to deal with. Went up to the room to drop off our bag and clean up before exploring, when I went into the bathroom I found a cell phone plugged in. Not knowing if it belonged to a former guest or the maid, I looked around real quick and noticed a few pieces of hair and some dirty spots around the bathroom and bed area. The bedding looked clean, so I figured it was the maids. Headed out to drop the phone off at the front desk on our way out to explore, made it to the elevator and remembered something we forgot, walked back down the hall to see the maid walking up to our door and use her key to get in without a knock...met her on her way out. She admitted to leaving her phone in there. Wasn’t too thrilled that she went in without even knocking. We’d been in there at least 30 minutes, so it’s wasn't a quick turnaround for her. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable, but it did move a lot when my husband rolled over. It was also noisy being close to the elevator (2119) and we could hear the elevator mechanisms alllll night long. Only other thing I didn’t care for was that the toiletries they supplied smelled like older lady perfume.
