No glass of wine on a Sunday night?
Very nice hotel in an excellent location downtown. Personally, I like some of the local neighborhoods rather than the center of downtown, but I knew that ahead of time. I’ve stayed before. The one aspect that baffled me was the inability to get a glass of wine on a Sunday evening without purchasing a meal. Had been out and about all day with my 87 year old mother. As we arrived back to the hotel on foot, my mom said “I just want to sit and get a glass of wine”. That wasn’t an option at the hotel. Had to go back out across the street to The Keg (which had an excellent atmosphere).

Everything great until seeing the towel stains.
Great service and everything was fancy. But the towels had brown stains...we know what that means.

Lovely Visit
We checked in on a Thursday evening with Sandrine (who may in fact be the nicest human on the planet) for our anniversary. She was lovely, made sure we had everything we needed, upgraded us to a larger room at minimal cost, and surprised us with a handwritten card delivered to our room later that evening. The bartenders both nights we were there were wonderful, and the concierge gave us a great recommendation for dinner our second night. All in all it was a great experience, on top of having a fantastic room with a view. I don't have a single complaint about our visit.

Would love to stay there again!
The hotel was perfect for us. Right place — over Gare Centrale, where our train from NYC arrived. Perfect room— comfortable, spacious all amenities were just right. Restaurant Roselys in the hotel was beautifully run and delicious. Right price — our two night stay was very well-priced, and when coupled with location, ease of check in, fantastic hotel staff, and the Artisans Market right in the building, we could have stayed in happily for our whole trip.

Central Hotel
Modern hotel at a great location. I took the train to Montreal and did not even have to go outside from the station to get to the reception desk. Attractions and good restaurants are within walking distance. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower is a bit small but still adequate. There are eight elevators and usually I still had to wait for one on my way down. Going up was never an issue. Some people had their dogs with them.
