Absolutely beautiful from start to finish, the design of the building is tasteful and unique, the rooms are clean and comfortable while still feeling upscale, and the property is gorgeous, with flower-adorned trails and a gorgeous lake. I have never written a hotel review before, but I felt obligated to after this stay. For a hotel that is priced competitively with other "normal" hotels, the Viking Lakes Hotel clears the competition by a considerable margin. The staff, cleanliness, parking, and amenities are top notch. A free continental breakfast option was all that kept this from being a perfect stay, but it was still the best hotel experience that I have ever had.
