Best Stay in the neighborhood.
Truly excellent staff. I was comfortable and felt very welcomed. The hotel is gorgeous and clean. It’s convenient to Stanford, and many shops and restaurants. Parking is easy. And the staff! They’re so helpful and cheerful, truly excellent, it beats repeating. Thanks Westin Palo Alto!! Will be back.

Great hotel—but some repair needed
I often stay at this hotel when I am visiting Stanford University for research purposes. Recently, I stayed twice for one night over a period of two weeks. On both occasions, I had problems with an elevator, whose doors would sometimes not re-open once you were inside. When I talked to staff, they said, "it's been like that for a while." Unfortunately, a 4-star hotel does not have the luxury of not properly fixing its elevator and allowing the problem to persist for weeks at a time. I overheard several other guests who had gotten stuck inside. This is not acceptable, and the manager should promptly have this problem resolved. Otherwise, this is a very good hotel.

Exceptional 10.0
Heavenly until breakfast.
The Hotel was simply beautiful and the bed was heavy. The only down side was the maids. The first maid knocked a little before 10 as I was waiting for my breakfast to arrive. Shortly after my breakfast arrived on time. As I was enjoying my breakfast. A second maid knocked on the door asking when exactly was leaving. She looked like the head maid as she had a clipboard and made a not. I thought this was very out of the ordinary, since I had just talked to the other maid. I felt rushed and didn’t finish my breakfast comfortably. Other than that i enjoyed a quiet stay.

We love staying at Westins
We can walk downtown or to Town and Country Village, the rooms and beds are super-comfortable, the buffet breakfast is very good and the staff is great. What could be better?!? Oh, and lemonade and cookies in the lobby!

Very Satisfied Guest.
Check in was a very pleasant and welcoming experience. Dwayne granted my request for specific room location and this was very much appreciated. Room is spacious with comfortable beds and pillows, and the bathroom is awesome. Bathroom is extra spacious with a separate bathtub and separate shower. Saturday morning breakfast was adequate. Stayed for 2 nights on 2 separate Hotels.com bookings. Second night was a Hotels.com redeemed night. Sunday morning breakfast buffet was better with cooked-to-order pancakes and omelets. Delicious!
