Get what you pay for.
Check in times were limited so couldn't check in until our third day since we were out doing activities. But the front desk gave us a new key every day that was placed in a lock box. Budget friendly. Great location on the beach. Would pay more for the balcony room.

Awesome location
Awesome location in South Kihei! There is beach access literally right past the lobby area. Check-in and check out were a breeze and the staff were super informative and friendly. I was a bit nervous about the parking situation since half of the lot is reserved/permit required but there was always a spot available for us during our stay. We were a little surprised that the room and especially bathroom was way smaller than pictured online. Even though there were only 2 of us, we still had trouble being and moving around in the bathroom at the same time - and neither of us are considered “big.” We loved that the TV was mounted and had cable/DVR included. Enjoyed having a fridge and microwave in our room. The A/C worked well the first day and then didn’t work as well the next few days until we turned it to the lowest temperature possible. We also wished that there was an actual ice machine on our floor versus the tiny ice tray in the freezer. Maybe there was one that we just didn’t see.. who knows? On our first night there we also saw a cockaroach in our room. Maybe it’s a Maui x humidity thing but we were pretty grossed out... Besides that we would stay here again if the price is right.

Expensive motel
So, my first impression with this hotel wasn’t great. Apparently they don’t have someone at the front desk 24/7 and when we arrived we couldn’t find them because everything looked closed. We ended up asking the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel and when she showed us replied “oh, it’s supposed to be right here.” She wasn’t aware that they closed early. We finally realized there was a placard saying to call a number and the security will let us know what room we’re in. So no customer service late at night and no room service for sure. The room itself was decent although the AC never really got cold enough and the floor always seemed damp. Then, when I went to shower the water was LUKE WARM at best. Bordering on being too cold. Lastly, you can hear everything that’s going on outside. When people are walking by it sounds as if you don’t even have anything between you and them, that’s how loud it is.
