About Sanderson, London

Avant-garde luxury hotel in London's West End, near theaters

A West End wonderland
Lavish, avant-garde, and gloriously over-the-top, the Sanderson places you in London's West End, just a 15-minute walk from Trafalgar Square. This 8-story art deco building transformed by designer Philippe Starck is a 5-minute walk from Goodge Street Tube Station.

Shops and sights
You'll be a 4-minute walk from the flagship stores of Oxford Street and a 10-minute Tube ride from the London Eye and Buckingham Palace. Pollock's Toy Museum is a 5-minute stroll, while the Tate Modern is a 30-minute Tube ride or walk.

Through the looking glass
The Sanderson has a surreal vibe with its Salvador Dalí Bocca sofa in the lobby and Mad Hatter's Tea in the courtyard. Instead of walls, sheer curtains surround the glass facade. Within you'll find hip hangouts like the Long Bar, Purple Bar, the Restaurant at Sanderson, and Aqua Spa.

Cool guestrooms
Guests love the whimsical rooms with layers of curtains separating living space and bath, landscapes hung on the ceilings, and electronic window coverings. Luxuries include Egyptian cotton linens, interactive flat-screen TVs, and über-cool MALIN+GOETZ apothecary products.

New London Favourite
From the moment we entered the lobby at the Sanderson and encountered the bubbly personality of Ruth, we knew that we were at a fantastic hotel. All of the staff were accommodating and extremely pleasant and personable. Our room (a suite) was spacious and well-appointed and the location puts you right where you want to be - just off Oxford Street; minutes from Soho and Leicester Square and surrounded by restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the Mad Hatter's Tea which offered delectable nibbles and exotic teas (I even bought some tea to take home!). Overall, we have found our new go-to hotel in London. We LOVED it!!
