Very Nice!
The area was very beautiful, and as this was a business trip to Peterborough, I thoroughly enjoyed the rural beauty and quiet. The staff was wonderful, and the food was very good. The bathrooms are a little outdated, but overall the experience was great.

Romantic stone building. Simply lovely
Wansford is in the heart of the wonderful stone villages close to Peterbrough and just off the A1 main road. The hotel is a real gem, if you seek traditional nglish luxury hotels then this is the place for you. Cosy, romantic stone building. Historic, simply lovely

Recommended by a friend - quaint hotel in country village - very tranquil. Dinner at hotel was excellent. Chosen for easy commute to London after traveling around UK

Lovely hotel but disappointing service.
Beautiful hotel, very clean and nice space to relax. Evening meal was lovely despite the hotel forgetting our booking and later taking 45 mins before we gave up on ordering dessert and found someone to pay our bill. Breakfast was ok if quite over cooked. If you’re a fan of McDonald hotels then I think you might be a bit disappointed as this isn’t up to their usual standard of service but the hotel and village are very pretty.

Overnight stay
The hotel itself was quite nice olde worlde charm but rooms needed updating. Our room was kitted out for disabled travelers so bathroom was full of grab rails etc which was fine but still very dated. We had ants in the bathroom too.
