Quaint and clean Parisian hotel in great location!
Hotel is well situated. Rooms are very small but adequate for travelers who are not spending hours during the day in the room. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are modern and clean. Hot water kettle in room for tea/coffee and AC which is rare but well needed in a hot August in Paris. Cannot beat location. There is construction across the tiny street but we were up and out by 9 each day so didn’t bother us. We stayed four nights and all were so quiet EXCEPT Saturday night when the nightclub across the street emptied out at 5 in the morning and it was LOUD. I’d suggest staying during the week and avoiding weekends if you can. Their breakfast is $$$ and I suggest walking to the boulangerie next door during week and up the street to Paul’s on the weekend. Staff is great and attentive to customer needs. I’d stay here again but not on a weekend night.

The rooms were small and a bit dingy. The hallways were narrow and the carpets seemed dirty. From the restaurant staff to the front desk, I felt they didn’t appreciate my stay. There is anti American sentiment all around FYI. When it was time to leave, I got zero help with concierge getting a taxi or Uber. I had to lug all my things as a single woman 6 blocks down and try to hail a cab. I was told they don’t like to pick up Uber riders with American profiles. The room rate was the most appealing aspect but overall less than satisfied.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Sadly the room on arrival was not suitable. Situated in the interior of the hotel it had no windows on to the outside world and though comfortable was very dark and depressing, especially for one of us who suffers from claustrophobia at times. Staff very understandable but having arrived at 8pm all rooms had been allocated. However we were given a change of room the next morning by 11am which proved to be much better, still don’t understand why a double room should have only one comfortable chair.
