The St. Regis Beijing, Beijing
Super Clean; Very well appointed; Helpful Staff
It is a wonderful hotel. clean, buffed and polished. wonderful in room amenities. The staff is almost overly helpful. It may be lacking in a little personality. The lobby spaces are vast but sort of all the same. Could use a jazz bar; a friendly bartender; a more helpful concierge who was enthusiastic about particular recommendations. That is small criticism though. I will stay again.

great hotel and service, personally I think it's even better in a lot of aspects than the Ritz@Tyson's Corner ...

St Regis is always a safe bet
The lobby, pool, terrace and other common areas are fantastic. Staff is of the same caliber of excellence as you would expect from the brand. The upstairs hallways and actual rooms are a bit dated (e.g. Carpets are last decade and the bedsider radio charging station is for an iPhone 4 without a USB port). The 4 Seasons is undeniably a better hotel but you'd have to be a miserable person to find anything less than peace and gratitude at the St Regis.
