All rooms have a view.
Large room, very clean and beautiful pool. Every room faces the pool so all rooms have a view. The hotel is being renovated so some of the rooms appear dated. The Hotel offers a bus to downtown Cairns for a reasonable fee. We arrived early and were allowed to use the pool and store our luggage. Staff was courteous & professional.

Warning! Lost post!
Overall I gave the PRC 3 stars. There were just small things that could have made it SO much better. They need an ice machine. I don't know if this is just an American thing, but we had to just drink tap water or pay $4 for a liter bottle of water. I asked about ice and they said they can bring a bag to our room. Where would I put it? WIFI is strange. You have to ask for a ticket from the reception which only gives you an hour. Maybe if there was a master UN/PASS then we wouldn't have to bother the desk so much about WIFI. Breakfast is optional, however, IT IS NOT WORTH the $15 PER DAY that they charge you. We were livid when we paid $30 and could have made something better in the room! They have a shuttle that goes out to the city which you pay for. It's fairly cheap but it's a small bus. All the drivers are extremely nice except Ted. We didn't have many run-ins with staff other than front desk staff. Everyone is extremely helpful except one person. Sonsri. That woman looks like she hates working there and it does not help the holiday experience. Overall it's a great place to stay. I would recommend it if you were going to be out a lot and just using the hotel for sleep. It is in a bad neighborhood but we never saw any signs of anything negative. If you are looking for a resort get away, this isn't for you!
