Good location, but very limited services, facilities quite old. The toilet did not function well and management could not provide much help. We would not stay there again.

Happy family stay
We had a great stay. Did not hear any other guests through the walls. There were a few condition issues that seemed like easy fixes, but overall, a nice place to stay. Trader Joes, Peets Coffee, and Dennis the Menace playground were all less than 10 minutes walk away, not to mention a ton of restaurants too.

Nice location for a family trip
We came to Monterey to explore town and visit the aquarium. This was an excellent place to stay. It was within walking distance of downtown with a lot of great places to eat, and within walking distance of the Old Fisherman's Wharf. The room was spacious and clean. It easily accommodated our small family of 5. The beds were comfortable and the heater worked well. There seemed to be plenty of parking available. The property often smelled of smoke (both cigarette and marijuana), but that smell did not seem to seep into our room.
