Spring getaway
Great spring getaway. Staff were wonderful. Dinner and cocktails on the patio were spot on. Room was comfortable and clean.

A great getaway
I was looking to get away from the city and enjoy some quiet time hiking in the woods. The trails around the JPL gave me what I was looking for (quiet time away from people). I also booked a massage and facial at their spa and was not disappointed. The staff are very professional. I highly recommend their spa. Unfortunately their main restaurant was not open for dinner during my stay which was disappointing. Do check in advance on what onsite restaurants will be open so you can plan accordingly.

Stayed in room 315
The room was nice, clean, and had comfortable bed! The room that I had was a two way entrance, but something was wrong with one of the doors and it wouldn’t open and that door happened to be the first one that I came to. I didn’t know at the time there was another entrance. Once I figured that out I was good, but it would have been more convenient if the other door opened.

Disaster turned awesome
I had paid a lot of money for our 2 night stay and I mean a LOT! Similar to a NYC 5 star stay. Upon arrival we were shocked with our room. A wooden cabin with adjacent rooms. The room “shack”was just large enough to place a suitcase and the bathroom was so small it could hardly fit in the small shower, toilet and mini sink. The sound of doors slamming closed left right and center was crazy. We heard Australians talking on the left and Japanese on the right. I went to the reception (feeling tired and suffering from health issues) and a manager by the name of Tyler was extremely kind and courteous. We got an “upgrade” to a quiet side of the resort in an actual comfortable and well sized and equipped room and a 100$ CAD towards restaurant expenses. We felt valued and must say that the staff at the Fairmont hotels that we have stayed is highly professional and 5 star like. Our feared disaster stay turned out to be an awesome one.
