WORST OWNERS EVER!!!! Don't go don't go don't go!
Worst hotel experience ever, and I travel a lot. The owners were extremely rude. I stayed at this hotel during hurricane Matthew. My father paid for the room (3 nights). The power went out the 2nd day, which I understand was due to the storm. Not having phones my father wanted to speak to the owners using my cell. They refused to speak to him (the paying customer)! All he wanted was to know what was going on and being done. I asked for a corporate number they said it was individually owned, I asked for the francishe number they said no. I said I wouldn't be staying here again and they said they didn't want me here. Why?! What did I do?! Who speaks to a paying customer like that for no reason!? I'm not even upset they didn't have a generator and didn't get to enjoy the amenities I'm upset that these owners treat their customers with such disrespect. Plus I had my dogs (which is allowed there and paid extra for) and they said my dogs barked too much. Yes go ahead and read that again, they are dogs! They are going to bark especially when there's no power, it's hot they're in the dark, in a strange place with weird noises everywhere. I did as much as I could to tell them to stop, I was hearing other dogs bark too.. Soo why am I at fault? Don't allow pets if you can't take what they naturally do. Plain pathetic to speak to people like that I would never in a million years go back there. My father is in the works of demanding a refund and I'm deciding to trust or not..

Our room was hot when we checked in. The ice machine on our floor didn't work. The washing machine wasn't working after we loaded our clothes in it (had to be repaired by maintenance). The back door to the hotel wasn't secured (you can enter the building without key access).

Overnight stay
Hotel was being renovated, but was still clean and quiet. Staff is friendly, and helpful. Right off the interstate easy access. Should be rated 3.75 stars

Worst Experience Ever!
This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. The hotel was undergoing renovations and raw materials were very visible. Toilets, couches and carpet were in the hallways. The rooms were dirty. The smell of mold welcomed me as soon as I opened my room door. Black mold lived throughout the shower. I complained to the manager. He was nasty and unapologetic. He would not tell us his name. He called the cops and said he was threatened. I needed up leaving and finding another hotel at midnight. I have never been so disrespected as a consumer in any state or country. My family was in town for a funeral. In a time where we needed comforting it made a sad occasion horrendous.
