Very Good8.0
Great hotel, just need to have free parking
Great hotel...Only reason it didn't get a 5 star rating is the fact that you have to pay for parking. Only options are $15 a day self parking that you'll have to pay for again if you leave the parking lot and return the same day. Other option is $26 a day valet parking with unlimited daily come and go. When you pay $200+ a night, parking should be included. At least self parking should be included for free.

Very convenient downtown location by Lake Eola. Walkable to any point downtown, and plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby.

Good6.0
Extremely poor customer service
The hotel was very nice and in a great location. Close to bars and restaurants and events. The room was clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable. We enjoyed the complimentary happy hour at the bar but we had a horrific experience when we went to breakfast the following morning. The man working the omelet station was EXTREMELY rude to my wife when she went up to get a breakfast plate from the many that were stacked at his station. He rudely informed her that plates were at the buffet line on the other side of the aisle from him. When we looked to wear he was pointing neither of us saw them and stated as such. He then came from behind his station and pointed towards the buffet line like we were idiots and loudly said, "THERE." We walked over to the buffet line but still did not see any plates, only small saucers. My wife walked back over to where the omelet guy was and seeing he was serving another guest took a plate from the stack at his station and began walking back to the buffet line. He rushed over and tried to grab the plate from her hand, then loudly pointed to a service tray well that held plates and shouted, "There. There. You can't see?" Once they were pointed out we saw them in the tray well but you would have had to be standing directly in front of them to see as there was a line. Besides, isn't a plate a plate? Another guest came up to us and said the guy was really rude, and must be very possessive of 'his' plates. The experience left me quite shaken!

Always a great place to stay and convenient location to soccer games and activities. I've stayed here on multiple occasions and always a great stay!
