Great staff but hotel generally run down, my bed in room 110 was broken, poor shower power, breakfast setting was gorgeous but cooked breakfast was poor quality this was night 37 walking swcp and was my worse night unfortunately don’t generally like to criticise but just being honest felt sorry for the staff who had to keep apologising for bad management (even no brown sauce in the hotel for breakfast)

Another wonderful break
It was another wonderful break. Linen and room very clean and ensuite was spacious. The view from the balcony is amazing and the grounds gorgeous which makes for a very dog friendly stay. The staff are courteous and friendly which adds to a relaxing stay. Meals were lovely with good choice. If you enjoy a hot breakfast, get to the dining room early. Looking forward to our 3rd stay.

Check in was good. Great location, access to the beach and town through gardens, i wouldn't say it was suitable for wheelchairs that way though. Room was good,. beds very comfortable, plastic sink and floor in bathroom stained but clean. Plug had usb port but no table to put your devices on, Just needs a table. Dog friendly hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were nice and polite. Downside, booked a table for 6 people at check in for 7.30, no table set for us. 2 hr wait for food which was dry, cold and overcooked, there was obviously a problem but instead of closing the kitchen we sat for a long time just to send it back, it was frustrating for the staff too. Lots of dogs in restaurant, personally i would have prefered a dog free eating area. Bar was small and very limited choice and not always manned. Overall, great location, friendly staff, good breakfast, lovely stay with a few hick ups, we had a laugh .
