Slum lords of the hotel business
They surprise you when you arrive with a $20 deposit per room, which you will not recieve back if you a) have visitors b) don't check out before 11am c) don't return the key d) have extra people in the room. I arrived with this surprise and wasn't able to afford the deposit since I believed I had already paid for everything at hotels.com. The lady at the counter was incredibly rude to me and everyone in my party and should not be working in the service industry. We had to argue with her even just to get extra towels since only two towels were provided per room. The refridgerator wasn't working, the shower wasn't working, and the room was dirty. Don't be fooled by "continental breakfast"- that means one pastry and a coffee available. By "business center" they mean one computer with no printer. Basically, they know that you aren't going to find a cheaper place in Visalia, so they use that to scam you and be rude. These people were like slum lords of the hotel business, it was awful.
