Will certainly return to this hotel
We booked a deluxe room for one night (as we were passing by the area) and we found the hotel great. We stayed on an 8th floor with a view to the river and it was awesome. The bathroom was spacious, clean, and modern. The only hard thing to regulate was the hot water in the shower. However, the shower was awesome! I will certainly stay here again.

Fantastic
This is our second time staying at this hotel and it's never a disappointment. The views are amazing the room service is to die for especially the crab cake sliders. I definitely would recomend this hotel

My Last Trip
The advertised rate was $170/night, with their fees and cost to park the rate was $225. Overall, this is a nice hotel built with very thin walls which excessive noise bleeds from wall to wall with ease. When making an online reservation you don't have a choice of selecting a bed. So if you're going as a couple-you better call Hotels.com and confirm a king bed or you and your significant other may get a room with two double beds. Hotels.com staff were very helpful with me on this. It is clearly overpriced. A total rate night of $150-175 would have been more appropriate. You're better off staying in Norfolk across the river and taking a $3 paddle-wheel water taxi operated by the city that runs all day and all night. Or since everything is actually in Norfolk: just stay there.

Won’t be going back soon
Not a good experience. Unfriendly front desk. Very sterile enviroment. Road work made it very difficult to locate entry way.

Favorite hotel in Norfolk!
Stayed here two years ago and the hotel, staff and service was so exceptional we had to come back. Was treated once again to the same outstanding level of service. The hotel is upscale without being stuffy. The rooms are nicely appointed and always very clean. We celebrated New Year's with our son who's in the Marines in the hotel lobby bar with our new friend and one of the best bartenders ever, Anthony. He was so attentive and cordial as well as an expert at his craft. While we didn't eat in the hotel restaurant this go round, I have to assume it is still at it's high standards with quality food and outstanding chefs and wait staff. The breakfasts here are outstanding. Great stay once again. We'll always stay here when we come back to Norfolk!
