When we arrived - the first thing was having 2 officers out front with a guest(?). Then we walked into the entry way and 2 more individuals- one barefoot - When checking in- it was a very uncomfortable feeling of people. We have never both had to present our ID for check in. We checked our room- and it was clean- it was only going to be overnight stays and as long as we didn’t leave the room we felt safe. We went out for our evening and returned after midnight- a sign in counter that checkin was closed 11pm-7am. I guess no one being there left it open for guests to just smoke pot whereever! If it had been just myself and my son- we would have never stayed by ourselves as I wouldn’t have felt safe! Oh- and they had some violation notice from the city outside the front door- didn’t see what it was for- Brrakfast was pre-packaged muffins/ granola bar

The bathroom could’ve used a bit more cleaning, or renovating. It looked moldy around the drain of the tub and it seemed to be peeling as well, and there were hairs on the bathroom wall, the room was pretty nice however, and the pillows were fluffy :)

The room was very nice. The staff was nice. Only a couple things could be better. 1. The hot and cold water were backward. 2. The breakfast wasn't very good. Muffins were not real fresh. No butter. Only grits, no oatmeal. No juice or milk.
