Will not return due to poor customer service
Gorgeous location! Resort is somewhat dated but has been renovated in most areas, including the interiors of the rooms/cottages. We had all the creature comforts in our creekhouse overlooking Oak Creek. It was a very comfortable stay for my elderly parents, myself and husband, and our teenager. Each had our own room with plenty of privacy, and comfortable common spaces to share. Our only issue was the customer service, especially the rigidity about check-out. We had extenuating circumstances and requested one extra hour. The majority of hotels, regardless of how many stars they have, show the courtesy of granting this to their customers. But this management/ front office rep showed absolutely no understanding or courtesy, despite repeated pleas. When you pay more than $500 to stay less than 20 hours, you expect better and more flexible customer service. Next time, we will try the other resorts on similar locations in Sedona. There are plenty of them!

Junipine resort is bunch of individual houses that privately owned. Because of that each decor of the house is different. Our friends got the updated one so their house is very bright, nice and modern look. Our house is outdated, dark, very strong smell of firewood and definitely need an upgrade for sure. It's a one bedroom house complete with full kitchen, dining table, living room. We didn't sit on the sofa at all because it looks very dirty and dusty. If you like privacy and stay a bit out of central Sedona then the location is good. For us it is a bit too far from everything. The restaurant open late and close early. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it doesn't look desirable. Also the cleaning service is not everyday. And in our house, the microwave and dishwasher didn't work. The conclusion .. it's okay if you're lucky enough and get an upgraded house.

Beautiful canyon setting
What a lovely and peaceful resort setting! The large terrace off the living area looked over the creek, with forest and rock views. Fabulous! The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bed was so comfy. The only less-than-great aspect was the onsite restaurant. Friendly staff, but limited food menu. For a longer stay, plan on bringing food with you and utilize the kitchen space. Had a wonderful stay!

Junipine Resort Beauty
Junipine Resort is a gem of a resort tucked into beautiful Oak Creek Canon north of Sedona. It's close to Sedona, but a world away when it comes to being with nature. A++++ resort!
