Comfortable and affordable boutique type hotel
Club Quarters (think boutique hotel) is a good value as far as hotels (and prices) goes in Washington, D.C. Although it is about a mile or so to Constitution Avenue where the Smithsonian museums are located, it is a direct and safe route. The staff was friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Milen, Senior Guest Services Manager, for giving me a lovely upgrade (perhaps as a past guest at other CQ). Also, I left my warm jacket and scarf in the closet when I checked out to go to another hotel where I was attending a program. Lety, Supervisor of Housekeeping, was so accommodating and made sure that the items were delivered to my next hotel. She personifies guest service at Club Quarters! The guest lounge is a wonderful place to watch tv, grab a complimentary snack or two, have coffee, read the papers, etc.). I watched the NCAA Final tournament there and munched M&M's at the same time.

Comfortable, Clean, with Exciting Ammenities
The hotel was clean, modern, and in the perfect location. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. There is a lounge on the second floor with snacks like apples, Chex mix, m&ms, coffee, and soda. We found out as we checked out they also serve orderves everyday there from 5-6pm. There is not free breakfast but a fine, reasonably priced cafe downstairs. Overall, our stay was lovely!

Location, location, location
Location is phenomenal!!! It doesn’t get any better than that. The parking situation is a little irritating, but Carl at the front desk was super awesome! Loved him!

Don't like the furniture post-renovation
The new furniture is not nearly as functional. They replaced ergonomic desk chair with cheaper ones that do not provide much back support. The new desks are so narrow and have a front panel that makes you bang your knees when you try to get some work done. The absence of luggage racks could be fixed easily and cheaply if management wanted to do something simple that would make guests' stay more pleasant. Location is convenient to the Metro.
