Very Good8.0
Convenient location; however, the room seemed overpriced considering the amenities, the area and the condition of the hotel. The included breakfast was just a danish, an orange and coffee.

Clean room- Bad breakfast&neighborhood
Clean and comfy room. However neighboorhood is not very safe, at least doesnt feel safe. Also their breakfast is served in a bag ( one banana and one muffin and one gronala bar), do not expect a normal breakfast. That was really disappointing since on the website it is not said so. Also we were wrongly informed about the breakfast hour so we missed the breakfast one day because of them.

Beautifully Vintage Styled & Most Likely Haunted
The room and hotel had a very cool, vintage vibe. The wallpaper was a turquoise colored large paisley design, that fit in with the mint green bathroom and dresser. There were pops of red and rich dark wood, as well. Creepy but beautiful vintage-like pictures, too. The rooms were named after famous people who had passed away. They even had one that was named Robin Williams. I had the vibe that it was haunted, and heavily so. One of the ghost following haunted shows should check this place out! The area outside isn't the best with bums hanging out, but it's not that far from BART and muni, just around the corner from Civic Center station, and not that far from nicer areas of the city, too. It os worth checking put and staying in. The lobby isn't grand, butthe hotel rooms are better than what they appear to be. Don't forget to ask for extra towels and bathrobes upone checking in, as well.

Okay, but not great
The price is right and the hotel is clean. The complimentary breakfast is very basic. The hotel is located on a street that has a lot of homeless people and they were pretty noisy yelling and fighting outside the hotel each night. There was also a lot of other street noise. I didn't feel too safe walking home at night so I spent a lot on ride share service. I think the hotel could solve the noise problem by installing better windows.
