Rome for a few days
We stayed in Rome for 3 days. Astoria was recommended by a friend. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. The location was a few blocks from train station. We used the train to visit all of the sites. The rooms were small but we only slept in them. All restaurants in the hotel area were reasonable and very good. The Garden was a nice place to sit and relax. Breakfast was acceptable European style.

A class, clean, quiet hotel near the train station
My wife and I have stayed here about 10 times. When in Rome it is an excellent location, value and experience. The staff is lovely. A 5 minute walk from Termini rail station. The garden is quiet and lovely, amid a major city center. It is an excellent value, and agin, the staff are so professional that you won't be disappointed. I can't imagine staying elsewhere. Location, staff, quiet, why look elsewhere?
