Returning in a Heartbeat
It was a wonderful experience--convenient, with all amenities needed and in the perfect location. I would return to the CQ in a heartbeat.

Cost effectiveness in the city.
Your basic business stay hotel. Service is basic and competent. Two issues: parking and property condition. Parking is pretty inconvenient, particularly if you are sel-parking. Second, the property is a relatively recent conversion. Room finishes are very basic, but at a very reasonable price point. The result is it feels pretty dorm-like, not quite like a hotel. Cost effective, but you wouldn’t want to spend much time in the room. There is a pretty good restaurant connected to the hotel.

Weekend downtown to visit the Flower Show
Very nice hotel in downtown Philly, when we visited the flower show at the convention center. Entry way a little weird having to take a elevator to the lobby on the 2nd floor. Our first time staying in Downtown, normally when we visit we stay outside the city and take the train into the city. It was nice to be walking distance from almost everything which is why we tried staying downtown. We stayed on the 12th floor (top floor) at first I didn't think I would like it till we got in the room and we had skylights over our bed (I'm sure the 12th floor only has that) which was very nice and romantic. The room was a little small but very nice and clean. We would stay there again! just remember that parking is expensive in the parking garage across the street even with the hotels discount. we paid a little over $60 for less then 48 hours.

Very minor issues: the bathroom did not have a vent and steamed up very quicky, even with a short shower; the heat / ac vent in our room was directed directly at the bed. It was either blowing hot or cold right at you all night. Thermostat couldn't decide what temp to keep the room at.

A Great Hotel with Character
I stay at the CG twice a month for business. It is reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The hotel is very old but has a lot of character. Service is great! Each floor has filtered water machines and a customer closet with extra pillows, blankets, sheets, TP, tissues, etc. The gym is good and the washers/dryers are free!

Buyer Beware
I booked this hotel on this app based on the price (~$30 less than Courtyard by Marriott and Hilton Garden Inns nearby) and the four-star rating. It is definitely not a four star hotel. And more importantly, I had to pay $42 to park my car offsite for my 12 hour stay. I guess that is what is meant by “Self Parking.” Why do I say this is not a four star hotel? 1. Rooms are tiny - no chair or sofa would fit 2. Bathroom was so small that the toilet seat would not stand upright because the toilet was under a counter 3. No bar 4. The only food option is an overpriced faux Italian steakhouse 5. Lobby is on the second floor above a Rite Aide drugstore. Stay somewhere else.

More than expected!
Very nice experience. The work out facility was much better than expected. New diners and restraunts are opening up on the same block, very nice. I was here for a quick turnaround business trip. I do believe I am going to bring my wife back for a weekend get away. Great location to enjoy downtown Philly, right in the middle of everything.

The front desk staff when we arrived were very helpful and couldn't have been nicer. Put both of us in a great mood for the rest of our visit.

I thought by the description when I made the reservation it would be closer to the airport and thought there was even a shuttle service, but other than it being further and having to take a cab the hotel was great.
