Hip vibe, but uninspired room
The (tiny) lobby and hallways have a very hip NYC vibe, but the room was tiny and pretty uninspired. They lost our reservation and ended up figuring it out, but the front desk staff gave us the impression it was our fault instead of apologizing for our inconvenience. When we checked out they charged us a $35 "facilities" fee - what facilities? The tiny lobby? Does a restaurant count as a facility? Seemed bogus and left us with a bad taste in our mouth as we were checking out. With so many options in NYC, I wouldn't stay here again.

Love this place
My wife and i got married that weekend and the staff were among the nicest and most accommodating people we have ever met. Did everything with a smile and seemed to genuinely like working there. And the building is magnificent; so beautifully decorated and maintained. I will forever recommend the redbury nyc.

The room I stayed in didn’t have outlets next to the head of the bed / nightstands which wasn’t convenient as my alarm and sound machine are on my phone. There is a lot of space between the door and the door frame which allowed both a lot of light and noise to come through. Given the placement of the head of the bed the light shown right in my eyes all night which made it hard to sleep. Overall customer service was good (concierge, front desk and room service staff) except the mini bar attendant who knocked on the door when I had just gotten out of the shower — I said ‘no thanks’ and from the other side of the door he said ‘no thanks - wasn’t offering you anything. Need to check the fridge.’ Additionally, the fridge wasn’t cooling. The credit card machine also wasn’t working on arrival and I was told I’d receive a personal note and bill from the manager which I haven’t.

Pricey but good.
During check in There was a bit of a delay due to one concierge working. The room was small but cozy, the bed super comfy ! The mini bar is over priced and the hotel did not offer vending machines for convenience. But you’re close to everything !! I would stay again at the Redbury but not for the price I paid.

A pleasure to stay here as always. I travel to NYC for business every few months and I always stay at the Redbury. The rooms are comfortable, the location is excellent and the staff is really cares. Sam at the front desk always makes sure everything is great for the duration of my stay. Also the restaurant Marta is excellent!
