NOT WORTH THE PRICE
I was absolutely heartbroken at the condition of the location… the lobby and front of the building looked beautiful when we pulled up but once you journey to your room it is another story. The carpet was FILTHY with trash, stains, a pile of towels and a bag of trash in our hall for two days. The smell of the hotel halls was disgusting. It smelled moldy/rotten. We travel to beachfront locations regularly so no, it wasn’t the normal musky beach smell. The elevators were broken(ok I get that it happens) for the whole time we were there and the stairs were dirty as well. Every glass door/ window we went through that wasn’t at the front lobby was FILTYH. Streaks , smears of who knows what, handprints, just disgusting. Our room was clean so that was the only saving Grace. it was acceptable but NOT $663 a night plus resort fee worthy. It was honestly like staying at a motel six with a big room. The shower grout was moldy, the drain was rusty, the doors were all flaking and warped from water damage. The hot water took atleast 10 minutes to get to our room and I felt bad wasting water the whole time waiting to take a shower. The cleaning staff would be congregated infront of their cleaning closet talking to one another or on their phones texting every day when we saw Them. Other times we would see staff walk right by trash all over the floor and not do a single thing about it . The trash would be there for days. The beach and pool area was the only good part.

Beautiful property grounds very well maintained. Staff was excellent. Rooms dated and need upkeep. Not in good shape. Very much in need of updating and upkeep especially for the price.

Great spot to stop and eat, would not stay again
We went for our honeymoon. The resort itself was beautiful. Food was great as well as the bar. Pools were pretty too. The room was not up to par. $800 + a night and the room felt like a motel. The room felt more like a basement apartment. Not at all what the pictures depicted. The bathroom was grimy. Shower curtain was ripped. Sheets felt like hospital linen. House keeping only came once out of 3 days. Bathroom towels had stains on them. Couch did too. We told them why we were staying there and they put us in a handicap accessible suite. Something we didn't need. We were hoping for romantic upgrades that we would gladly pay for, those didn't happen. We were told we were in the "nicest" room. The "bathtub" had a handicap bench with was covered with mold. It wasn't the romantic bath that we expected. Bathroom had no vanity, no fancy anything. The faucet leaked and sprayed everywhere when you turned the shower on. Inside door for access to room next door, not wanted. My husband and I both came home with bug bite marks, I am now 99% sure there are bed bugs. Tiny fridge available but no microwave. Hallways had trash littered everywhere. Balcony only had one chair for a suite for 2. None of the piers were accessible for whatever reason all of them were blocked off. If you're looking for the fun of Key West like Duval street, the walk from Casa is a little much. it's a good spot to stop in and eat. I wouldn't stay here again though.

Tried property…..
We stayed at this property many times unfortunately it has seen its better days needs a complete redo, Front desk check-in was great. She did a great job checking outside. Unfortunately the place is just tired and old time for them to sell it to a new investor that wants to make something great out of it!!!!

Stay away from this place
Terrible costumer service, elevator out of service, dirty room, be prepared to pay extra fees (about $50) for each day that you staying including for using the pool and other BS plus $30 for parking every day that you stay or $35 for valet parking. This is a very expensive terrible hotel

6/10 Good

Highly disappointed
Our first room, smelled of mold and mildew. Asked to be moved, while the next room didn’t have the same smell, it still didn’t smell good, but was tolerable with a candle. The hallway carpets are dirty and disgusting. Work was being done on one of the rooms in our hallway and pieces of drywall, dust and sanded particles along with dirty drop cloths were left for days. For a Curio Collection we were terribly disappointed. Someone needs to come take a look at the disrepair this building has fallen into. Just sad. On another note I left an article of clothing and called to retrieve only to be told it wasn’t there. It’s a shame you can’t find honest workers.
