Great location, very friendly staff. Building a bit dated. I would stay there again.

Not a cookie-cutter hotel
This is an older hotel with lots of character. If you enjoy cookie cutter sameness in your hotel rooms, this is not the place for you. No elevator for the second floor & there was a step up to our bathroom if you have mobility issues. Liked the neighborhood, walked around and went to Manuel's Tavern for dinner (yum). The guy at reception when we checked in was helpful, the guy in the morning could barely be bothered to look up when we spoke to him.

Shabby and in need of a lot of attention.
I love historic hotels and I'm able to put up with a lot of things not being perfect; but I'm not willing to put up with tile falling off in the shower or the amount of mildew milt up in the shower. The bed was uncomfortable. The room was VERY small. It could be cute/cozy but it isn't.

Quite an Experience!
It is beautiful and captivating from the outside. Once inside, it is obvious this Inn has a long history. If only the walls could speak of what they have seen. The room layout was not traditional by any means, but unique and artistic. This is the place to stay if you want something out of the ordinary and unique! Be sure to say hello to the random black cat roaming the open hallways.

I had to move rooms late at night with no help because the television was not working properly.
