We found numerous ants in our room. The room was clean, but the ants grossed my wife out.

Bad service - great location
We decided on this place because it was in the middle of everything we wanted to do while in Indiana while still achieving not spending a lot of money on a place we were not going to stay in except to sleep. With that being said - We got there and the room smelled like smoke and cleaning supplies (we got a non smoking room) I took a shower and realized there was mold in the bathroom. We asked for someone to come up and look at it (just in case) the maintenance guy they sent up "said it happens all the time, we can just paint over it." he did not seemed concerned at all. We got a new room, but it had not been cleaned. We had to get a third room. That room was better! Did not smell like smoke or cleaning supplies. Another note: the beds were relatively hard so I did not enjoy them. If you like beds like that you will enjoy it. There is a bar right across the street that has great food and stays open until 3am. It is in a great locations for food places.

The lobby was clean and relatively inviting. The rest of the hotel... Not so much. Our room walls had cracks, the door did not have a chain lock, (you could see the holes left behind where it had been, and there were no pictures. Seemed very basic. There were huge rolls of carpet in the stairwell, and tape over the directional sign that said "Pool". Breakfast was... Sparse. Biscuits that needed microwaved. Cold eggs in a minifridge that also needed microwaved. Gravy in a small crockpot. Some bread with a small toaster and two types of cereal. Was a bit disappointed. Overall the hotel did what it needed to do, but I probably would choose a different one next time.
