Dog Friendly!
Great place! One of the few places where we can bring our dog, free of charge!

Our stay
The hotel was okay, everything was pretty dated. The air conditioner was very loud. All night we got woken up by doors slamming. The door had a huge gap so the light from the hall way came In. The breakfast was horrible. I always stay at La Quinta, this one was not so great.

Very Good8.0
The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Upon checking in the pool was broken, with hopes of it being working that night. Or the next morning, or by Friday. We were offered a free cancellation, but I was there for surgery the next day. It would have been nice to know of the faulty pool prior to us driving 4 hours to check in so we could've made prior arrangements. The hotel was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and our kids did have a fun time. The pool did open up on our last morning there, yay! The front desk did offer for us to stay later than checkout so our kids could play, which was very nice of them.

Take a 2nd look prior to booking here
I am a consumer that makes decisions based off previous reviews; and sure was let down here. The array of issues here are countless and will do my best to keep it brief and precise: -booked mostly for desire to swim the 2 nights in town for a family pool...nope it’s broken. Not even posted at from check in desk, but you find out once heading to the pool in your shorts at the door entrance to the pool - LAME -told by front desk the hot tub works, nope that’s also a lie and has a sign up on that as well -was offered $100 credit, which really never happened and going to further explore this -vending machines only take exact $ and give no change back. So if you have $1/bills, don’t wet your whistle too much on a late night snack because the 3 options available are mediocre -King Suite was our room and if it wasn’t just for the semi-comfortable bed, one would’ve thought you had stepped into the Bates motel -side entrance door slams throughout the evening and morning and in room 135, you’re in for a treat each time you JUST fall asleep and then a jarring slam will be sure to keep you on your toes La Quinta, you have some work to do. Set proper expectations, be very transparent with them and when you offer something.....mean it!

Stay here if you have low expectations!
I chose this hotel based on good reviews however, I find myself wondering if most people just have low expectations of a hotel. The good thing about the property is that the service is friendly and front desk was nice! The rest is less than desirable. The property is in serious need of a major renovation. Most of the furnishings in our room were either stained or damage. The actual furniture such as the couch and chair/ottoman were caked in years worth of filth. There were broken/damaged lamp shades, a damaged and worn in desk, the kitchenette didn’t seem safe to even attempt to cook in and the bathroom and bedroom area had hair amongst several other issues. It just felt dirty and unsafe. The physics property is unkept, dirty and littered with cigarette butts, etc. Maintenance should really be outside cleaning up after the snow melt to make their property more attractive, even if it’s old. There’s a huge difference between just an aging property and just being dirty and I’d be embarrassed if I was management or ownership. We won’t be going back or staying with the LaQuinta brand ever again.
